TRANSCRIPTION; [illegible]en
dc.description.abstract(Color) The card depcits a soldier on the battlefield, on his knees and praying to Jesus on the cross. At the lower left side of the image, the printed "Church Army London W." indicates church invovlement with the postcard design or production. Beneath the picture is a simple saying of "He Died of his Wounds for ME!" The card has no stamp or postmark, and the writing on the back is illegible (inscribed but unposted). It is unclear if this was intended as a postcard, since there is not printing on the back indicating the placement of stamp, message and/or address.en
