dc.description.abstract(Black and White) This postcard displays the text of a poem, "The Soldier's Dream of Home," underneath an image of a mother and child in a routine home environment. The postcard provides a "From" space for senders to fill out, as well as a location, "Remount Camp, Romsey." The words "Home, Sweet Home" can be found in the upper left-hand corner, but it is unclear if this the series name or the title of the image. This card is uninscribed and unposted.en
