Abstract
(Color) This postcard depicts the explosion of the first zepellin to be brought down in England, in the night above houses. The artist, probably H. Perrett, calls this "Driven Off." The time and date of the zepellin explosion is given as September 3 [1916], at 2:20 A.M. The back reads "Passed for Publication by the Press Bureau on September 16, 1916." The card is uninscribed and unposted.
