It is located on main campus near what is now the Sterling E. Evans Library and was built in 1918 for the school of veterinary studies. It was built in 1908 and had a central 36X36 foot clinic room, eight box stalls, four tie stalls, an office, feed room, janitors room and hay loft. The east wing of this building later became the anti-hop cholera serum Laboratory until a brick serum lab was built in about 1917. In 1938, Jerome Waters became an Instructor at Illinois National Guard. In 1941, he became Commanding Officer of 6th Training Regiment. From 1942 to 1944 he was appointed Commanding Officer Artillery 76th Division. From 1944 to 1945, he was Commanding Officer Artillery XXXII Corps. Brig. Gen. Jerome J.
