Data on the regrowth of rye grass after clipping and application of saliva, water, and nothing (in the case of the control) was collected from 1 September 1981 to 1 April 1982 at the department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences, Texas A&M University. The saliva used came from cows and cotton rats. Grass was planted, treated and measured four times. The data produced inconclusive results. No significant difference was found between any of the treatments.en
