Abstract
An overview of the Deere & Company Energy Management Program is discussed. A review is made of seven key elements which have contributed to the success of the program. Installed projects and established programs are identified and discussed. The results achieved by Deere & Company in energy conservation are quantified.
Major points presented are audits, energy accounting, monitoring program results and feedback reporting.
The corporate Energy Management Program is detailed. This includes organization, personnel requirements, energy efficiency goals and maintenance of a corporate data base.
