dc.description.abstract | The application of metallic heat exchangers on medium- and high-temperature industrial furnaces is examined. A thorough technical understanding of all furnace operating conditions and the duties imposed upon heat exchangers is identified as a key factor determining the success of an installation. Similarly, heat exchanger suppliers and industrial users with extensive application and operating experience will also contribute to the success of an installation. Operating and application experience with several types of metallic heat exchangers applied to various types of process furnaces is presented. | en |
