Fall and Winter Health Problems in Cow-Calf Herds
Abstract
Producers can prevent or minimize health problems in cow-calf herds in fall and winter by reducing the stresses caused by inadequate nutrition, sudden feeding changes and unsanitary conditions. This publication describes common health problems in cow-calf herds in fall and winter, the causes of those problems and preventive measures producers can take.
