Abstract

Livestock grazing can be an effective tool in managing wildlife habitat. This publication explains how grazing affects various wildlife species such as white-tailed deer, bobwhite quail and turkeys, and how to select the type of livestock needed to achieve various management objectives. Charts and tables compare the diets of wildlife and livestock species.
