dc.description.abstractThe two-step method is a simple approach to controlling fire ants. The first step is to broadcast a bait insecticide over the entire yard. The second step is to treat individual mounds. Information is given on various bait and mound treatment products, as well as techniques and equipment used for applyiing them. Other treatments also are discussed. A fire ant block party is recommended.en
