Development of a Water Loop Simulation at the Texas A&M University Main Campus
Abstract
A computer simulation model is an economic and convenient tool to perform analysis of chilled water loop. The primary objective of this paper is developing procedure for simulating and optimizing chilled water loop with computer simulation model. A simulation model of chilled water loop at the TAMU main campus to estimate pumping power saving potential, compare energy consumption for different operation modes in power plants, identify system operation problems, optimize and predict system behaviors.
