Abstract
During summer months, many manufacturing
plants have to cut back in rates because the
cooling water system is not providing
sufficient cooling to support higher production
rates. There are many low/no-cost techniques
available to improve tower performance. To
understand the importance of the optimization
techniques, cooling tower theory will be
discussed first.
