Energy use indices for 27 government office buildings are presented that have been assembled from hourly monitored data as part of the Texas LoanSTAR program and other efforts at the Energy Systems Laboratory. These indices include whole-building electricity, cooling and heating use, as well as the electricity used by the motor controls centers (i.e., fans, pumps, etc.) and the combined lights and receptacles. In this paper a comparative summary of the information is presented across all the sites, as well as tabular information about the indices. Such indices are useful for ascertaining baseline line measurements, or other indicators of energy use in commercial office buildings.en
