Abstract
The primary objective of this project is to use musical composition as a framework for making thoughtful and deliberate design decisions. The intention is not to directly incorporate music into the project in a way that simply mimics the art form. Rather, by drawing inspiration from the emotional and expressive qualities of music, the aim is to create a design that captures the essence of a particular feeling or mood. By using music as a framework for design decisions, the focus is on the emotional and psychological cues provided by music; and how similar methods can be utilized in order to evoke feelings of peace, courage, and optimism in the project. This approach to architecture results in meaningful and thoughtful design.
