This document contains a sample M&V plan that has been prepared in accordance with the Texas Guidelines for Measurement and Verification for Energy Performance Contracts. This sample M&V plan was extracted from the March 1999 workshop, entitled: "Preparing and Evaluating Measurement and Verification Plans for Energy Performance Contracts in Texas", Sponsored by the Texas was developed by the Texas State Energy Coordinating Council, and the General Services Commission, State Energy Conservation Office. The M&V plan represents an actual Performance Contract that was approved by the TECC/SECO. This document is a public domain document that is intended to serve as an example document of an M&V plan. Certain manufacturer's trade names are mentioned in this document for the purpose of describing the types of equipment used to measure energy use.
