T5 - An Introduction to Hydrodynamic Bearings as used in Industrial Turbomachinery

Abstract

This course is intended for engineers and technicians working with critical rotating equipment, it will also benefit managers and supervisors that have some rotating equipment responsibility. While most of the material is introductory it will still provide a great refresher and perhaps some new information for the more experienced engineers. Those attending will learn about the fundamentals of hydrodynamic lubrication and how that is utilized with bearings in industrial and power generation turbomachinery.
