Tankers transporting oil and chemical products must be treated carefully especially while those products are both loaded and unloaded from the ship. When the treatment fails, it causes to spills of the products and leads to serious pollution and economic damage. In this research, surge and sway forces and yaw moment on moored tanker is studied, while another vessel is passing parallel to the moored tanker in both deep water and shallow water condition. Numerical and empirical methods are studied and compared in given condition. Determined data will provide more information of the vessel dynamics to terminal facilities and ship owners in order to allow safer transfer of liquid.en
