Two groups of pumps were investigated in great detail and the analysis showed that large variations in QcR, for the same design specific speed, can be obtained by modifying the design of the rotating channels. An attempt was made to condense the different design parameters into a global parameter, relating the design concept and the critical flow rate, for analysis and prediction purposes.en
