| dc.description.abstract | This tutorial provides general guidance on the topic of operations and maintenance of unspared compressor trains and their auxiliary systems. It is targeted towards entry level engineers working in the operations and maintenance field. The tutorial will be divided into two major sections. The first section covers ‘online’ checks and inspections including vibration monitoring, auxiliary system monitoring, regular visual inspections, online preventative maintenance, documentation maintenance, and performance monitoring. The second section covers the efforts associated with turn-around and maintenance (planned or un-planned). This includes details on maintenance intervals, preparation and planning for outages and peripheral system checks during an outage. | en |
