Description
In this article Blaschke argues that the major component blocking the widespread use of microcomputers in schools was the lack of adequate software. He reports on the results of a survey on priority user needs and perceptions about the types of applications low-cost microprocessors could fulfill. Blaschke predicted two basic approaches to the development of of quality standards and software development, one depending on market competition and the other on federal intervention.
