| dc.description | In this article, Blaschke argues No Child Left Behind cut off the innovative growth capacities of education technology companies and advocates. Blaschke blames a lack luster technology provision, which claimed to promote technological literacy, but did not hold states accountable. Additionally, several companies had their software and diagnostic systems discouraged by districts. He further charged that the Bush Administration imposed constraints that prevented the potential benefits of technology usage to be realized.
