Description
This paper provided an update on recent research findings related to the cost-effectiveness of computer-assisted instruction in K-12 schools. It discussed report technology that had helped supplement basic skill development, the growth of interactive video and telecommunication abilities, increased use of technologies in schools, and the need to explore how computers can reduce staff time and facilitate individualized instruction. One of the "hottest" education technologies mentioned was CD-ROMs.
