Description
A book about performance contracting in public schools. The process of private corporations forming contracts with schools to help students improve their performance is discussed. Performance contracts are used as a managerial tool through which schools work with outsider entities to achieve the performance they want, and pay based on how successfully progress was made. The process from the identification of student need to school assumption of program responsibility is described.
