dc.description.abstractA Phase I archaeological survey of two water line segments (4.51 miles) in central Walker County, Texas was performed on October 11, 2007 by Brazos Valley Research Associates (BVRA) under Texas Antiquities Permit 4675 with William E. Moore the Principal Investigator and Edward P. Baxter the Project Archaeologist. In all, 8.2 acres were examined. No archaeological sites (prehistoric or historic) were found, and no artifacts were collected. It is recommended that the project be allowed to proceed without further consultation with the Texas Historical Commission (THC). Copies of the report are on file at the Texas Historical Commission (THC), Archeology Division, the Texas Archeological Research Laboratory (TARL), the Walker County Special Utility District (SUD), and BVRA.en
