This research study will investigate if specific personality characteristics predict physical or verbal aggression in an individual. It is significant because it uses common personality traits to predict excessive aggressive behavior. Schools could use the results of this study to predict students with aggressive behavior and potentially violent behavior, giving them information to appropriately increase or decrease school security and inform instructors of required action. Professional sports teams could also use the results to predict aggressive behavior in potential athletes. With this information, teams could decide if a player was too much of a liability or what measures to take to insure player safety. If successful, I hope to showcase my study so it can be implemented in societal institutions where it will benefit individuals involved.en
