The background seems to depict what he is thinking of (his eyes are closed) and seems to be several depictions of himself playing at various sports. The back explains that the soldier is blind and explains how a blind soldier re-adusts to everyday life. It explains the large sum of money needed to assist them after coming home and the card probably benefitted such funds. This card is uninscribed and unposted. | en |
