The End of the War (Unofficial)
Description(Color) This card depicts a poem as if written as a letter on a worn piece of paper that had been rolled up and sealed. The seal looks like a medal and reads "LUCK" inside of a horseshoe shape. The card is unposted and uninscribed except for a pencil marking that reads "Military."
This collection previously belonged to Dominic Hibberd, an English biographer most noted for the biographies of Wilfred Owen and Harold Monro, World War I poets. He collected these postcards for research purposes.
