For the Empire: British Pluck
Abstract
(Color) This picture looks like an unrolled scroll held down by two small weights and a stem of small white flowers against a red background. The poem, "British Pluck," appears to be written on the paper. The card is unposted but there is a pencil marking of "WWI" on the top left hand corner of the back and some pen writing in the space provided for the stamp that reads "30/12/1914/ Sa: Le:/ (illegible initials)."
