Surrounding the Union Flag are various Allied flags from France, New Zealand, Belgium, Canada, Russia, India, Japan, and Australia. According to the information on the back of the postcard, the title hails from the Imperial Chancellor's remarks and Sir Edward Goschen's reply, regarding the Treaty guaranteeing Belgian neutrality and the events that began the war. This card is uninscribed and unposted.en
