Description(Color) This postcard displays a poem by E. Mitchell, written in Eastbourne in December 1915. In the top left corner is a picture of the Union Flag. All proceeds from the sale of this postcard "will be devoted to the Wounded." This card is uninscribed and unposted.
This collection previously belonged to Dominic Hibberd, an English biographer most noted for the biographies of Wilfred Owen and Harold Monro, World War I poets. He collected these postcards for research purposes.
