Description(Black and White) This postcard is the text of a poem, with a graphic of two hearts with an arrow shot through, printed on purple paper. The card is intended for a soldier's "Sweetheart" and provides a "From" Space as well. There is no stamp or postmark. This card was sent from Robert to Charlet, but he signs his name Bro Bob.
This collection previously belonged to Dominic Hibberd, an English biographer most noted for the biographies of Wilfred Owen and Harold Monro, World War I poets. He collected these postcards for research purposes.
