Description(Color) This postcard seems to depict a soldier with a gun, but, when held up to light, one can "find the German spy." This was not used as a postcard, but as a handout by the "Taylor Platt Company (by arrangement with Vedrenne and Eadie) in 'The Man who Stayed at Home', the successful Royal Theatre Spy Play."
This collection previously belonged to Dominic Hibberd, an English biographer most noted for the biographies of Wilfred Owen and Harold Monro, World War I poets. He collected these postcards for research purposes.
