Abstract
The conversion of the Midland Nuclear
Station to a combined cycle power facility
is the first of its kind. The existing
nuclear steam turbine, combined with new,
natural-gas-fired gas turbines, will create
the largest cogeneration facility in the
United States. The paper describes the
project and the converted facility.
