Mechanism of Thermal Comfort and Its Application in Indoor Environment
Abstract
The reaction of thermoregulation systems in animal experiments was studied. By measuring the levels of dopamine in rats, we found that the rats' thermal neutral zone ranges from 27°C to 28°C. Similarly, there is also a thermal neutral zone in the thermoregulated center of humans. Based on a long-term survey in Shanghai, the neutral temperature for occupants was determined and the relationship between neutral temperature and relative humidity was studied
