Abstract

On July 07, 1972 the College of Veterinary Medicine held their annual celebration honoring the academic achievements of their undergraduate students. This Honors Convocation took place at the Memorial Student Center, on the Texas A&M University campus starting at 7:30pm. Master of Ceremonies was Jim Rundell. Invocation was given by Mike Heitmann, and the Welcome and Introductions by Dean Alvin A. Price. Images 0216- 0239 are accompanied with a program for the event. This Program describes twenty different awards that were given out during this event. On the back page, at the bottom, the Veterinarian's Oath is printed. Each picture in this group of images will have a seperate description about the award given to the indivdual('s) in that image.

Description

The Faculty Appreciation Award presented to Dr. E. W. Baldwin (shown on the right) , who is honored for his leadership and teaching ability, individual integreity and efforts made in the area of student relations. Receipients of this award were selected by the students and was presented by student Jim Rundell, shown on the left. Writing on the photo or group of photos: 'FACULTY APPRECIATION AWARDS: These awards are based on leadership and teaching ability, individual integrity, and efforts made in the area of student relations.
