Microbiology Award
Abstract
On July 07, 1972 the College of Veterinary Medicine held their annual celebration honoring the academic achievements of their undergraduate students. This Honors Convocation took place at the Memorial Student Center, on the Texas A&M University campus starting at 7:30pm. Master of Ceremonies was Jim Rundell. Invocation was given by Mike Heitmann, and the Welcome and Introductions by Dean Alvin A. Price. Images 0216- 0239 are accompanied with a program for the event. This Program describes twenty different awards that were given out during this event. On the back page, at the bottom, the Veterinarian's Oath is printed. Each picture in this group of images will have a seperate description about the award given to the indivdual('s) in that image.

Recipient and graduate, Larry N. White receives the Microbiology Award made available by the Department of Veterinary Microbiology for the student who displayed outstanding ability in his courses in Veterinary Microbiology while enrolled in the professional curriculum.

Moore, Department of Veterinary Microbiology; D.W.M., M.S. -Texas A&M; Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Microbiologist presents this award to student Larry White who was also serving as the Case Reports Editor for the "Southwestern Veterinarian" student publication circa 1972. Writing on the photo or group of photos: 'MICROBIOLOGY AWARD: An award to a graduating student having displayed outstanding ability in his courses in veterinary microbiology while enrolled in the professional curriculum.
