Student American Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary Award
Abstract
On July 07, 1972 the College of Veterinary Medicine held their annual celebration honoring the academic achievements of their undergraduate students. This Honors Convocation took place at the Memorial Student Center, on the Texas A&M University campus starting at 7:30pm. Master of Ceremonies was Jim Rundell. Invocation was given by Mike Heitmann, and the Welcome and Introductions by Dean Alvin A. Price. Images 0216- 0239 are accompanied with a program for the event. This Program describes twenty different awards that were given out during this event. On the back page, at the bottom, the Veterinarian's Oath is printed. Each picture in this group of images will have a seperate description about the award given to the indivdual('s) in that image.

The Student American Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary Award were presented to two second year students enrolled who were married. The recipients were selected on the basis of scholarship and leadership. Shown here are left to right: Dan L. Hawkins, Wallace B. Baze, and presented by unnamed women from the Student Wives Auxiliary.
