Abstract

(Color) This card is a clever poem intended to make light of the rations. A red bow makes it look like the poem is printed on top of a present. There is no stamp or postmark, but the message from Lizzie and Ben to J. W. Caraluther indicates that the sender is poking fun at this "ration card."
