Offices of Media Resources, number 03
Abstract
The job of the College of Veterinary Medicine's Media Resources Unit was to make the College look good. The staff of Media Resources provided the College with invaluable resources; employees trained in graphic design, photography, duplicating and video production. Their photography services to faculty, staff and students offered clinical and surgical photography; including pre and post operative specimen and necropsy images. They also created still-life photos of gels, test tubes and medical equipment; along with individual, group and passport photos. Not to mention digital imaging, slide duplication, copy photography, black and white custom printing and film processing, X-ray slides and prints; as well as color printing and film processing. Most of the images archived in this collection is a result of their work.
This menu of services is what was offered to their clients in 1995, however; as graphic and computer technologies advanced and the needs of the Colleges change, the photographic services offered today are different. What will never change is their goal to make the College of Veterinary Medicine look good.
