Abstract
Rollover Fish Pass is a man-made tidal inlet located on Bolivar Peninsula near Gilchrist, Texas and is about nineteen miles northesat of the Galveston Bay entrance channel. At the present time, there appears to be a general sense of some existing and possibly growing problems associated with sand transport through Rollover Pass, with the associated beach erosion near the Pass, and with sand accumulation in Rollover Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway north of the Bay. This report basically consists of two sections: (1) identification of present conditions at Rollover Pass, and (2) evaluation of various design alternatives for improving conditions at the Pass. Refs
