dc.description.abstractThis report consists of two data sheets, four maps, 54 cm X 68 cm, with latitude 30 00'N - 29 15'N and longitude 96 00'W - 95 45'W, and one map, 16 cm X 23 cm, with the same latitude and longitude. The first four maps present data on water-level changes during 1977-93 and 1992-93 in 249 wells in the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers in the Houston-Galveston, Texas region. The data sheets concern measured compaction at 11 well sites from 1973-92. The fifth map identifies locations of borehole extensometers. A brief geohydrological description is also include on the first map.en_US
