Abstract

The Problem [line break] The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of two variations of administering programed instruction materials for teaching selected mechanical drafting concepts as compared to the effectiveness of a video-tape television presentation. Other considerations in the study involved the analysis of American College Testing (ACT) scores of an individual's ability to learn the selected concepts. In addition, it was advantageous to ascertain the significance of previous drafting experiences and test score differences between the pretest and the posttest.
