Abstract
This is the third compilation of references to Texas geology. The first, covering literature through 1932, was published as part of the University of Texas Bulletin 3232 and the second, covering the period 1933-1950, was issued as The University of Texas Publication 5910. In this bibliography, as in previous ones, each paper is indexed by (1) specific subject, (2) geological system, and (3) geographic locality, with particular emphasis on counties. The bibliographies of North American Geology published by the United States Geological Survey provided most of the listings. Other bibliographic sources were canvasses on a more limited basis. A few trade-journal articles are included, but complete coverage of this type of material was not attempted.
