Abstract

An injection seeded Ti:sapphire laser, pumped by the second harmonic of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, has been constructed for use in an experiment that will explore the validity of the Bell-Clauser-Horne inequalities.[] A new technique, Ramp-Hold-Fire, is employed to stabilize the slave cavity with respect to the seed beam to produce Fourier-transform limited pulses at 761.1 nm. Frequency tripling is also demonstrated with stable output power.
