Abstract

The influence of mowing height on water use rate of "Tifway" bermudagrass was investigated. There were three coordinated studies of plant responses to mowing height that were monitored. They included measurements of: a) total root growth, b) leaf area, c) verdure, d) leaf orientation, e) evapotransiration rate, and f) stomatal density.
