Abstract
This article addresses the changes in behavior of several trace metals that occur in response to the systematic changes in ionic strength, pH, DOC, nutrient concentrations, and alkalinity demonstrated in estuaries. Specifically, data is presented with regards to Cu, Zn, Pb, and Ag behavior in six Texas estuaries, as well as Fe, Al, and Mn behavior in Galveston Bay.
