The following is a collection of original short stories and a critical introduction compiled as partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Degree of Master of Arts in English, awarded from Texas A&M University. The critical introduction illuminates the elements of a craft I have discovered and utilized in creating these original short stories, as well as discussing specific influences. The short stories are a representative collection of my fiction as a result of my study with the Creative Writing faculty in the English Department at Texas A&M.en
