A mature cordaitean cone (picture 1) containing 3 golden coprolites. Coprolites are are composed of macerated pollen grains of Florinites (picture 2).
Description
These images were used in the research for a master's thesis from the Texas A&M University Dept. of Geology and Geophysics (Date of submission: May 2020).Images were taken from unmounted peels of coal balls.
A mature cone containing 3 golden coprolite.
Coprolites are composed of macerated pollen grains of Florinites.
Peels were made by Anne Raymond, the advisor for this thesis.
