dc.description.abstractDuring 1999, the second season of a monthly series called "Curing and Caring" aired as a Public Broadcasting Service program. The show featured the College of Veterinary Medicine and one segment of the show, "The Doc Is In" hosted by Dr. Dawn Boothe featured actual medical cases and who the animals were treated. The first show of the second season aired with the case of "Mischief" the miniature schnauzer who had a badly injured leg. The show was broadcast from the studios of KAMU at Texas A&M and was produced by TeleVentures Productions.en
