The Southwestern Veterinarian was a non-profit journal, published by the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, College of Veterinary Medicine, Texas A&M University. The purpose of the journal is the presentation of ideas related to all fields of veterinary medicine: education, research, public health, and clinical practice. dc.description.abstract | On July 07, 1972 the College of Veterinary Medicine held their annual celebration honoring the academic achievements of their undergraduate students. This Honors Convocation took place at the Memorial Student Center, on the Texas A&M University campus starting at 7:30pm. Master of Ceremonies was Jim Rundell. Invocation was given by Mike Heitmann, and the Welcome and Introductions by Dean Alvin A. Price. Images 0216- 0239 are accompanied with a program for the event. This Program describes twenty different awards that were given out during this event. On the back page, at the bottom, the Veterinarian's Oath is printed. Each picture in this group of images will have a seperate description about the award given to the indivdual('s) in that image. | en |
